I was born in Alberta in a small farming community. I grew up around farmers and farm life so I have always had a passion to assist farmers. When this drone technology was presented to me I immediately saw the potential to assist farmers to save money and time.
I have been married for 23 years and am the father of three very creative children. My oldest is a videographer, photographer and musician. While my twins are both artistic and musical. I think music runs in the family, after all, both of my parents were musical and so am I.
My father has been a photographer for as long as I can remember, and he has instilled in me a passion for photography. I have dreamed of being paid to take pictures I wanted since I was a small boy. However, I do have responsibilities to my family so I took the safe route and did not chase the possibility of becoming a full-time photographer but now that I have a job that allows me some time to chase my own ideas I am slowly stepping into this. I am hoping that one day I will be a full-time photographer and videographer.
Due to the fact that I have been shooting since I was a young boy I have years of experience and skills to offer those who use my services. I started shooting long before digital photography was even a viable option. I mean there have been digital cameras since 1975. It was, however, all but useless for actual photography. It had a resolution of 0.01 mega-pixels so not useful for actual photography. Since then technology has improved to the point where I am able to put a very small 20-megapixel camera into the air.
I can shoot high-resolution pictures and UHD (ultra high definition) video from up to 120m (400 feet) or at ground level. I am also a trained thermographer and I am able to take thermal images both aerial and terrestrial. I can see heat loss patterns in your buildings and building operating systems. Due to the fact that I am also a Journeyman electrician, I can open panels without the need to hire another person, so it ends up being cheaper for you.
